KQD Down-the-Hole Drill

Down-hole drilling rig is an impact rotary drilling rig, which has a different internal structure from general rock drills. Its gas distribution and piston reciprocating machine structure are independent impactors. The front end is directly connected to the drill bit, and the rear end is connected to the drill rod. During rock drilling, the impactor penetrates into the hole and, through an air distribution device (valve), causes the piston (pituitary gland) inside the impactor to move back and forth to strike the drill tail, causing the drill bit to generate a rotational force on the rock at the bottom of the hole.
